FAQ
1. What materials are your seats made from?
Our seats are built using high-strength fiberglass or carbon fiber shells, paired with premium foam padding and durable upholstery. This ensures a lightweight, rigid, and comfortable design suitable for both street and track use.
2. Are your seats FIA certified?
Currently, our seats are designed for performance street and track-day applications. Some models may not carry FIA certification — please check each product page for specific details.
3. What mounting hardware do I need?
Our seats are compatible with standard side-mount brackets. You will need vehicle-specific seat bases or sliders, which are sold separately. If you’re unsure, reach out and we’ll help guide you to the correct setup for your car.
4. Can I order custom inserts?
Yes. You can browse fabrics on Relicate and note the Product Number of your chosen material. When placing your order on our site, include that number in the “Custom Insert” field so we can source the exact fabric for you.
5. What’s the difference between fiberglass and carbon fiber seats?
-
Fiberglass: Strong, lightweight, and more budget-friendly.
-
Carbon Fiber: Ultra-lightweight with maximum rigidity, ideal for competitive builds.
6. Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Since our seats are built to order, returns and exchanges are limited. If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days and we’ll make it right.
7. How long is the lead time?
Typical lead times range from 4–6 weeks, depending on material availability and customization. We’ll confirm estimated delivery times once your order is placed.
8. Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and will be calculated at checkout.
9. Can I use your seats for daily driving?
Absolutely. While our seats are designed for performance, many customers use them comfortably for daily driving. Just note that fixed-back bucket seats may not recline like OEM seats.
10. How do I clean and maintain the seats?
We recommend vacuuming fabric regularly and spot-cleaning with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals, as they can damage the upholstery or inserts.
